He lost to Ward, clearly.

I had him just beating Dirrell thanks to point deduction and according to my score card of the kessler fight I had it equal (will watch again)

Therefore that is one loss in his last six to the clear #1 of the division, no shame in that.

 

What a weak attitude, to say thats why American fighters dont travel. So what about how Ward was able to butt Kessler yet Kessler gets warned and how Ward could hold without warning.

Dirrell should have been disqualified for his holding. It was way too much, and refs need to start penalizing fighters for this.

 

I don't see how anybody could possibly have Dirrell winning the fight. That was one of the most pathetic performances I've ever seen.

Holding should not be tollerated in boxing.

Froch beat Dirrell on the cards. It was competitive, but he won 7 rounds. And yes, I am 100% American.

I don't hold a loss against a world class fighter against a guy. If you are truly challenging yourself, you will likely falter once or twice.

IMO, it's better to be revered as an exciting take-all-comers fighter (Cotto, Froch) than be a cherry picking, save the 0 guy (Slappy, Ottke, Mayweather).

lost pretty clearly to dirrell and kessler imo but was very competitive in both.froch actually fought ALL these guys though which is beyond commendable, the dudes a fearless beast the likes of which we haven't seen in boxing in a long time
