Froch beat Dirrell. The fight was close only because of the tactics used by Dirrell to avoid having a fight at all!

I have watched the Kessler and Froch fight several times and honestly, I think Kessler won it.

OP does not like Froch, that much is apparent.

Got no real problem with Froch Dirrell beat him go watch the fight. You might not like how Dirrell fought since you might hate boxing. But Dirrell won the fight

Well, we are going to have to agree to disagree. I have watched the fight more than I have wanted too (it's a plain horrible fight) and still believe Froch won. I am not a Froch nuthugger, in fact if you look at my posts I was anything but a fan, I have to say that now I am. Can't be a real fan of boxing and not appreciate what Froch has done for the sport, he is old school and deserves respect even if you dislike him personally.

The hype train is alive and well on ESB. Froch beats a paper champion and all of the sudden he's a great? Had he fought more competitively against Ward I might believe some of the hype but beating Bute doesn't change anything. I agree he lost 3 of 6 which means he's average against good opposition. I had Dirrell winning but it was close so I wont argue it.

he is a good fighter what else do you want me to say? Ward and Dirrell out boxed him and Kessler beat him. He is nothing special. What has he really done for the sport?

A whole hell of a lot more than Dirrell, that is for damn sure. Putting on fantastic fights for fans, always coming to fight, a being tough as nails does more for boxing than faking an injury and fighting scrubs. That being said, I don't think Froch is HOF but he still has time to get some pretty solid wins in. For me he's an elite fighter than is competitive and can beat the best in his division. Not quite HOF yet.

He aint beating Ward. He fights Dirrell again he will lose again. I think he can beat Kessler but we will see. But why are you comparing Dirrell to Froch when I asked what the hell has Froch done for the sport?:deal

Dirrell went down more than Haye but Haye is the ***** :patsch

You don't get credit for fighting one bum in two years!

George Groves dropped him in sparring anyway; he's irrelevant.

boxing has numerous ways to win, some aren't as entertaining but they're effective.......you don't get extra points for entertainment and brawling.

dirrell fought horribly negative against froch and looked like a deer in headlights but still made him look amateur and landed more clean punches which is the number 1 scoring criteria.....

That was the worst I've seen Dirrell he was shook up a bit by the big stage but he still did enough to deserve the W and as a novice who had never gone 12 rounds vs a complete beast like Froch, anything more than a few rounds won and making it to the final bell would have been an accomplishment let alone deserving the W in his first step up in opposition level.

I notice a trend in your posts though, you like british boxing don't you.... c'mon son you know damn well a high percentage of the greatest and most entertaining boxers ever have been american now **** off

Dirrell is done for imo.. folk can bang on about the supposed robbery in Nottingham all they like but it has nothing to do with the present situation.

Since his abraham he has done **** all of note, seems mentally weak and most importantly couldn't sell enough tickets to even make himself an option to the elite fighters. Froch wants the big fights and big money, he is towards the end of his career so dirrell best get himself in the frame if indeed he does want a re-match. Not forgetting froch being the champ deserves the fight at home.

He is great though (not really a big fan myself) because he comes to throw down with no fear. He fights everyone and is one of the few that even talks **** correctly. He is mostly underestimated imo. I remember everyone saying how Arthur Abraham would kill him and he just made it look easy banging Arthur up like some rag doll. I would never feel safe betting against him versus anyone. And him beating anyone, ever would not surprise me. Thank god for fighters like him. He may not be the most skilled or the most anything but he comes to fight and takes what he has and stretches it real tight unlike many gifted talented fighters who avoid real dangerous fights, avoid fighting often and even at best rarely have to dig deep in a fight. His fights are interesting and usually surprising in some way, unlike many of the hyped fights involving P4P greats.
