If Froch can't make the Kessler rematch happen, he should get Dirrell in Atlantic City.

He never beat Andre convincingly and I had that fight 8-4 for Andre D!

I scored it 116-114, 6 rounds to 4 and 2 even overall in favor of Froch. Let me check I scorecard for the exact round scoring.

However about your corner reactions comment, if you remember the fight vividly then you know that it was really a very even fight in the last 6 rounds. And if you watched it on Showtime, you will also remember Al Bernstein had Froch winning the fight (by 1 point) with Antonio Tarver havinf Kessler winning by one point. Obviously very close.

If Froch's corner reactions seemed like they saw it coming it was probably because they were in Denmark. And they knew there was no way Froch was gonna walk out of there the champion if he went the distance in a close fight, even if deserved.

Or they could have possibly reacted that way because of the judges ridiculous scorecards! 117-111!!??! 116-112!!??! and the one judge who was at least watching the fight and scored it within reason 115-113. I would be dejected as well with a *figured as much* look on my face after winning a hard fought fight, and receiving scores like that for my troubles.

Imo, every fight in the Super Six should have been fought at a neutral location. Because unless they scored a KO, the traveling fighter lost every time they visited the hometown fighters turf. Dirrell in Nottingham (should have won) lost, Froch in Denmark (should have won) lost, Abraham in Detroit was on his way to a KO (I felt) was DQ'd. Hometown cooking played a big role in 3 different fighters first defeats in their careers.

if dirrell does something, then i see no reason why froch can't give him a rematch. but at this point in time, it's not worth it.

i wouldn't say he uses blatant elbows. and the dipping below the waist all the time was why those rabbit punches came about.

Nah. It was a close fight. I could have seen a decision for Dirrell, but he did not "dominate".

He's a 3 time titleholder who has fought the toughest competition of anyone in boxing the past 3-4 years. He may not win every time, but he's everything a fighter should be and that's HoF-worthy to me.

he didnt beat Dirrell . Glen johnson is some sort of big accomplishment? Bute ?
You really think if he retired today they would put him in the HOF?
