Old school fighters used to have the solid defense fundamentals something he lacks.

what he is saying is that he is using old school methods of training such as push ups, pull ups etc... he is not used to modern training equipments. that's what he is saying.

Carl Froch hasn't done any cherry picking. He had a decent build up, faught and beat some decent names (Reid etc). Then he stepped up faught Pascal followed by Taylor followed by Dirrell.

Just coz you can fit a fire extinguisher up ure ass don't mean ure right!!!

I can't complain about Froch's level of opposition, but Reid was utterly shot when Froch fought him.

how can he not be championship level when he won his belt by beating a current lhw champ and then defended against the former undisputed mw champ? he may noit be slick but he's still a tough sob and not an easy fight for anyone and still undefeated.

Are you ignoring the fact that Froch beat Pascal because it defeats your argument or are you really that stupid:patsch

It's not about who defeats who, it's about whether a boxer is ready to step to the challenge and isn't ducking anybody.

in 2009 Jean Pascal fought 4 four times, he fought his mandatory, and defeated the dangerous Adrian Diaconu twice, that's the definition of a warrior.
