He got lucky and he was fighting dirty, also the fight was much closer then what the scorecards were. Anyways Froch has some positive attributes about him, he's mentally strong, a decent jab, good chin and power. But he needs to watch his mouth, he talks as if he's best the SMW. Kessler, Ward, and Abraham will put him in his place.
Eddie Chambers fought Wladimir Klitschko when no one else wouldn't at the time. As a matter fact if Wladimir wasn't injured he would of fought Wladimir last December. Granted Chambers got beaten up badly, but hey he wanted to win, it's just that Wladimir was too good.
Dude what Froch says should not be taken seriously and I think that Froch himself is having a laugh with most of his comments.
Exactly, I think maybe it's the English accent or English sense of humour, but over here we can tell he is tongue in cheek all the time, the Yanks seem to take what he says deadly serious.
You slipped into the gay insult move first twat. So get get pissed when I react. Some people come on here for an informed debate and other come on the insult people. Well done!
Froch has had too many close calls ..Eventually it will catch up to him ..I believe that reality check is coming from Denmark !! Only 16 days left!
Totally agree that Reid was far from his best. But not a bad fight to be taking at that stage of Froch's career. I think his progression has been decent. Anyone who points to him ducking is clearly just a moron.
We'll see. So far he keeps proving people wrong. I think he will stop Kessler but I have a lot of respect for the dane and nothing would really supprise me.
Eddie Chambers was a warrior for all of four rounds....then he turned ***** and tucked up for 7 rounds and 2:55 minutes. He's a tough gguy but he litterally stopped trying for three quarters of a fight. He pussed out against povetkin and could have fought better agaisnt Peters if he wasn't soo timid. LOL, I know if it ain't broke you don't need to fix it but the dude does look horrible. I've been following this guy for soo long but I have no idea who taught this guy to train but even if you see the way he throws at jab when he's shadow boxing is just wierd (if you want to know what I'm talking about re-watch the Froch Taylor broadcast, specifically the part where they show him shadow boxing in the dressing room).
Yeah I think it is a cultural difference. British humour is hard to grasp for some Americans. Have seen the office in the American format and it is just not funny.
Has still got the job done 26 times and he was a decent amateur! Trust me there is more to the cobra than meets the eye.
Yeah can't complain about his opposition. He is taking on all comers. But Reid was nothing more than a punching bag in that fight. His reactions were gone and he was just standing there taking punishment completely flatfooted. It was a bit sad to see that fight.
