It doesn't matter whether Froch did or not, we all know Groves is a bit chinny from the Anderson fight.

Anderson fight - 8oz gloves no head guard.

Froch spar - 14oz gloves and head guard

    big difference.

Froch mentions the GB team were there watching... It seems Froch was making a point that DeGale was lying... "If you don't believe me, ask the others that were there" is the vibe I get.

:deal Groves came straight out with it, he has nothing to be embarrased about. I'd love chunky to spar with froch after degale making **** up about froch, i suspect degale would be outcold

maybe, but I also heard that Froch knocked him out prior to DeGale mouthing off.

then again I have no reason not to believe Froch, he tends to say it as he sees it.

Doesnt matter who did what to whom. Come fight night there is only one winner imho. Groves' only chance is Degale taking him way too lightly.
Dont get drawn in by the stupid mouth, he is just trying (very) to sell the fight and get under Groves' skin.
I expect a one sided battering with an eager ref stopping the slaughter before Groves is proper ko'd.

Howard Eastman ended Steve Collins' career in sparring and sat Eubank on his arse.

Sparring is preperation, it lacks the pressure of the big game and it means little to how you will actually get on in a fight IMO.

Groves came out with the sparring story ages ago, as a positive note. Okay, Groves might be a bit wobbly but he's shown he can come back (against domestic opposition this far) stopped a more durable opponent than Degale has (Adanu, a genuine suoer middle who took Frochy the 12) and Degale is no banger.

I still favour Degale, but Groves is no joke, and isn't going to go down without giving more of an effort than Paul Smith. Than in itself will force Degale to show more than he has already.

I just wonder how decent Groves would e if he fought in his own style. The bad Haye impression is not really working.

DeGale orthodox is underrated... Gold is foot and handwork.

Groves must be The One if he can compete with The Matrix.

    DeGale TKO 10
