Nah. I've seen the replay enough times. He legit beat the count and he went down the second time with less than 10 seconds in the round. It was over. He was out on the first KD down. Watch in the replay how Bute just stumbles back across the ring unable to defend himself.

 

Carl Froch is gonna be a grade B fighter after Bute beats him. He's nothing.

 

This discussion was made to death.

Any honest people will admit that:
1- the ref could have stop the fight when Bute was not really defending himself (around the last 20 sec. of the fight).
2- Bute beat the count (just time it)
3- The fight was over
4- Bute gave Andrade his rematch and beat him.

Now, I dont understand why people still talk about it.

 

All Froch's talk is going to mean **** all in less than 10 days. He can then be relegated to endureing that Harpie woman of his shriek her myriad of indignations. Personally I think that is where he gets it from...

 

Because the situation just reeked of corruption, and unfairness. . . Another black eye for boxing. . . People don't easily forget foul shyt like that. .

It's brought up every now, and again, but nobody is discussing it like that. . .


But I agree, which is why I said over, and over again: Bute manned up and gave Andrade a rematch , and beat him fair, and square. . No question really who is the better figher.

 

The real problem here is the mess the ref made in the fight gave ammunition to those who want to discredit Bute. "He should have lost" "he was KTFO" and such. The hate and the question should be raise about that ref, not about the fighter. And as you said, we all know who is the best fighter, a fact a lot of people choose to ignore for there own agenda. So to talk again about that fight is helping those same people to spread the same hate and omission.
