Froch's not scared of Golovkin at all, he's said before it's one of the only fights that motivates him, to see if he can stand up to this guy's power and put an end to the mythical status he's acquired or see if he's the real deal and belongs up there. Nobody else will fight him but Froch will, Hearn will push for DeGale and that probably makes more money and is much easier to win, depends how motivated he can get for another domestic dust up after already reigning victorious in one, he's more or less sealed his fate posting that picture though, he'll get a Calzaghe ducking ****storm if he don't fight GGG, it won't be because he's scared though. I see it as 50-50 but you don't bet against Froch and GGG wouldn't elect to outbox him though he will in moments.

GGG is a smooth operator when he wants to be.
There's no need to impose a BIG DRAMA SHOW in Nottingham.

Against Murray, Rubio and Monroe he was trying his damnedest to give the HBO audience a show.

NO sense in trying to slip counters or dip beneath a jab when you've already put your opponent on quear street.

There's no genuine obstacle except Froch himself.

HBO would probably prefer to show it on World Championship Boxing rather than the riskier proposal of GGG losing on a PPV.

However....that obstacle is easily overcome with a simple addition to the card.

James DeGale making his FIRST voluntary defence against a decent K2 S/MW like Max Bursak.

The IBF would be thrilled to make GGG V FROCH and eliminator with the winner being the mandate for Chunky.

By making this a PPV....HBO could theoretically make the IBF mandatory defense one as well, especially if GGG and Chunky come out victorious.

Which....in and of itself doesn't seem like a genuine leap into supers****om for GGG....

However...with Zurdo, almost assuredly holding the WBO title next yr.....And also an HBO fighter.....And a big DRAMA SHOW in his own right at times....
And unification on HBO PPV would easily sell.
    Mexican vs Mexican Style...lololol...

    And..........drum roll....

Where would Andre Ward go if GGG is doing 700k buys.....

Knocking at Tom Loefflers back door.

And that's how the fairy tale ending of the GOAT came to be
