read the other day he is maybe facing degale in march next year. that's only going to be one fight this year. as a boxing fan I get frustrated waiting around for fights surely froch could be more active? does anyone else agree? im tired of siting around paying my sky sports subscription waiting for fights!!!

Froch is coming probably into the last 3 big fights of his career he knows this and wants to pick the best money fights he can

At least he's not reaching David Haye or Tyson Fury levels of inactivity.

I think he really doesn't fancy the DeGale fight and desperately wants a fight in Vegas still. Which is fair enough.

We wouldn't be waiting a year for Naz to fight his blockbusters - 15 defenses in five years, 14 of which spectacular knockouts, most of which against former/future world kings.

Naz > Hatton, Calzaghe, Haye, Froch, Khan

Think its pretty obvious with the nature of his style he can't fight like that often and when he does, there's a hell of a lot on the line, meaning his health, so he has to get the right fights.

Twice a year is fine for someone like Froch. Those on the fringes of World Title contention should really be fighting three to four times a year.

If he faces Degale then hes a silly man, Degale might not have Groves power but he has a better chin and maybe an ever been hin then Froch (yet to be proved) but hes never been on the deck as an am or pro and hes won a Olympic Gold Medal 2 ABA titles, A British and Euro in the process.

Degale beats Froch on points it will be close but Chunky is all wrong for Carl

defensively yes, degale is very elusive and quick footed/handed. but he loves laying on the ropes. and degale will get ko'd if he does that stuff vs froch. degale switches off.

I hope Degale aint lying when he said he was sitting on the ropes because he was injured,he didnt do alot of that in his last fight againts Gonzales and we saw the result.

I would have rather DeGale gone down the WBC or WBO route instead of Paul Smith. He could have easily done it in the time since his last fight and would make a fight with Froch a much bigger event.

Does what he wants, he's earnt that right at this stage of his career. Since fighting Ward in 2011 he's fought 5 times. Ward has fought twice.

Degale has a pretty decent chin, I'm going to put my neck on the line and say Degale boxes Frochs head off next summer at Wembley and gets the win. Froch might come on strong late but yeah I'm picking Degale
