Anyone see "A Question of Sport" the other night? The presenter goes: "Which British boxer lost to Antonio Tarver for the Light Heavyweight title last year?" Carl Fraud: "Roy Jones Jr." :-patsch
What is more scary than the fact he knows dick about boxing is that he is a "pundit" on ITV, and that he can't even comprehend a simple question. He's taken too many punches!
To be fair to him, there was a board with about a dozen surnames on it (Jones and Woods were two of them), and as soon as he heard "Tarver" in the question he probably saw Jones first and immediately put the two together (and just forgot/didn't realise about the British bit). He answered immediately, without thinking (obviously) and when Woods was on the board Tiger Woods would've been the first person to spring to mind, whereas for Jones it would've been Roy Jones.
yes, i've also heard him say he's not a "huge fan of the sport" to use his words and doesn't watch much of it so hasn't got much knowledge on it, i think it was on the boxing hour i'm pretty sure it was on setanta
