Carl Froch is a Dunce

he is a bit dumb, i heard his answers with Steve Bunce on fighters in middleweight and british landmarks. Seems he lacks a bit in the head does our carl

 

this is a trend i also heard darren barker say he'd never heard of harry greb and archie moore

 

That is bad but Carl definitely isn't stupid.

He picked Jones over Calzaghe so its fair to say he doesn't spend as much time watching boxing as we do but that is probably healthy. He seems to have other things in his life, a property business and a maxim girlfriend.

Dunce? I don't think so.

 

Poor old Carl last month he was insisting Joe Calzaghe took the mensa test now he's been exposed as a boxing dumbo himself.

yeah there are a few top fighters who dont watch much boxing ...gary lockett another one .

 

Dean Francis is another. I don't think Amir Khan watches all that much boxing either.

 

He actually said - if Jones had just 40% of what he used to have, then he'd beat Calzaghe.

Which is quite a decent take on it !

 

Hold on, so the guy (might have) misheard the question, can you not see how he got to the answer??If he had said Wladamir Klitschko or President Putin then yeah, hes a thick ****, but saying roy jones jr really ain't that bad.

 

it's shocking, go down ur local boxing club and most kids and guys will be only familiar with Ricky Hatton and Amir Khan. Alot of the amateur coaches too know very little about boxing history and the current scene.

 

Maybe Froch just got mixed up under the pressure of the spotlight, it happens!

Nerves affect everyone. people are reading too deeply into the fact he simply ****ed up a question.

maybe if hed actually watch some boxing, maybe he would learn that its not unheard of for a boxer to keep his gloves up and actually try to block some punches - see what they're doing frochy??? try doing that youself...

 

True, but still..........he did a great job Vs. Taylor. He took punches and came back by knockout. I have to give him credit for that.

 

That's actually an easy one to trick the mind, as soon as he heard Tarver he linked it with Jones, as I do, and answered without considering the full question.

It's like one of those puzzles where your brain only picks up the parts it wants to see.
