its not Froch's fault Groves was limp as a noodle and the ref stopped it, how does that make Froch any less of a warrior? coming off the canvas, behind on points and getting the stoppage? blame the ref. Froch deserves to give him a rematch as much Degale deserved one from Groves and what did he get......Groves getting the same would be Karma as far as Im concerned.

His fans are apologists, just like Haye's fans. This warrior bull**** has to ****ing stop. It's not like he's fighting the elite fight after fight, his opposition has been good but the one elite fighter he fought, he lost to.


I keep hearing how he has such a great resume and will fight anyone anywhere but it's not like he's fighting for nothing ffs, he and his team take calculated risks and go where the money is, just like every other active fighter. The truth is if Froch had a personality or some skill to speak of he could and would have defended the title he won by beating Pascal against a long line of stiffs in packed out venues in the UK but the **** had NO fans so he had to go down the "warrior" route.

 

Although i agree totally that Froch needs to give Groves a rematch ASAP, the fights ending was not satisfactory for anyone, not even him. I even felt as though Groves could have probably weathered the storm and should any of those bombs he was throwing in exchanges land it would have caused Carl some serious problems.

Having said that - you cant really disrespect Froch - people are jumping on him because he isnt very good at the talking game and frankly wound up the crowd by hyping up his own performance and stature. He has fought everyone, and not avoided anyone either so precedence says that the rematch will not be out of the question - especially considering he wants Andre Ward, who quite frankly will probably do carl some serious damage in a rematch now that he is actually sitting down on punches (who would have thought shoulder surgery made that much difference)

Lets also be clear that Froch was good on his word like groves he stated that the first time he hit groves with a good shot he would be in trouble - and to be fair he was right - albeit Groves was robbed of any opportunity to come back, take a knee, weather the storm ect a rematch will still be interesting as both were good on their words as to what they would do to the other.

Bottom line here is Groves has a far more superior skill set and power, froch has one of the best chins and recovery rates of any fighter and will need to do exactly the same to win a rematch - Clearly this was the judges/ref's fault not Carl - & this is coming from someone that had 1,600 dollars on the fact that George would be the first to Stop him.
