Carl Froch is the biggest talker iv seen so far in boxing

Froch's lack of skill means that every fight against a top level opponent will always be a war. He'll never be able to school anyone. Look at this last few fights:

Jean Pascal - Great fight but he took way too much punishment.

Jermain Taylor - Was on the way to a UD defeat before that late stoppage.

Andre Dirrell - Dirrell beat him but his cowardly tactics cost him the decision.

Mikkel Kessley - Again another war for Froch and more miles on his clock.

Win or lose, they're all close battles in which he takes too much punishment and doesn't close out the show.

 

Errr the difference is Froch WOULD have fought those guys which is more than I can say for Pavlik, Bute, Williams, Bradley, Khan, Mayweather, Haye, Povetkin and every other coward in boxing today I can't be bothered to expend the energy typing the name of.

Froch fights. Win or lose he fights.

 

He's not 0-2, he's 1-1. Just like Dirrell, Abraham, and Kessler.

He may very well be past his best, but how on earth is not dusting off Kessler and stopping him worthy of heavy criticism?

Even if Froch gets knocked out of the super six he will have Pascal, Taylor, Dirrell, Kessler and Abraham on his resume which is better than Calzaghe who has Kessler, Lacy, and two 40-something year olds.

 

Maybe his self belief is what has got him this far. He's one of the biggest overachievers in the sport, can't blame him for having an over inflated opinion, it's probably the back bone of his success.

If dirrell loses to Ward and abraham beats froch we have a tie as to who advances, then it goes by rounds won which at this time I believe dirrell has a slight advantage because of the abraham win, it all comes down to the third round folks.
