Froch has a great deal in his locker, but Calzaghe has more, and would stop him late.

...still, some posters should know better...it's not like Froch needs hyping - everyone knows who he is - what Froch needs is a kick up the backside - he is 31, says he is the best in the world and that he'll KO everyone, yet he's not fought anyone and most of the better fighters he's fought, he hand-picked at short-notice. And has fought absolutely nobody. His power is good yes, his defence is on a par with a drunken babboon and he will likely be schooled by Inkin, or KOed agaist a proper world level operator.

Mouahhhhh....Bute would get dismantled by Froch's power!!! I had a good laugh when I read that. Froch has such an awful defense that Bute would school him quite easily. Froch wouldn't see the shots coming from both speedy hands.

By the way, read this morning in the local newspaper, if JC fights Jones, the WBC has confirmed to GYM that Froch and Pascal will be fighting for the vacant title this Fall. Froch might have a chance against Pascal because of his suspicious chin. But if Pascal's shoulder is 100% healed, Froch would be schooled by Pascal's speed.

 

I think Froch is a good operator, but it does make me laugh that he is past the 30 mark and has been hanging round the domestic scene for four years claiming to be the man at 168.

In a recent interview defending his Hennessy teammate Junior Witter, he blasted Ricky Hatton for not fighting Witter the reason being that he was 'too old' and would struggle with JW - just a quick point:

Hatton is 29
You are 30
Witter is 34

If Froch were the truth, you'd reckon he'd at least be a beltholder with a good couple of defences behind him by the age of 31, after over 6 years in the pros, wouldn't you say?

Yeah...Froch is the truth and the truth is that he is a past-it prospect who's taken it as easy as possible at every available opportunity, doing his best not to step up, while running his mouth. The truth alright!
