Thats what im looking foward to seeing, whether AA will pick it up early, not take those rounds off, given that he had to play catch up against Dirrell, that he will most likely give Froch rounds if he does what he normally does, especially if Froch does keep it long and use his advantages.

Thing with Froch is though, his lack of technique shows up when he is pressured imo, now he can cope with methodical pressure, but when put under real pressure, his footwork, slow, wide punches, chin in the air get him into trouble. Froch was lucky that Kessler did'nt press him harder in their fight, cause Kessler would of had more success.

It's interesting because, Froch in spurts was able to box Kessler, but he didn't maintain that had he done so, he could have won an easy UD. But the man just loves to brawl, and that could be his undoing. I mean the guy has height, he has great reach, and a decent jab when he pops it. Just he can't seem to sustain that. If he can do what he did with Kessler in some of the early rounds he could win this no problem but he will engage and will go toe to toe at some point.

Very hard this late in his career to adopt the new gameplan, but we'll see.

What Froch says and what forch does are teo totally diferent things. Give it 4 rounds and he will be back to his old ways. You cant re program yourself in such a short period of time unless you are a fighter that usually makes changes.

cant wait for this one. Prediction is AA by TKO!

if froch wants to win the fight, he should box and run, there is a big difference between running and boxing!

but i predict that he will get knocked out in the first six rounds

This thread is borderline ******ed. If you've even watched Froch you should know he is fully incapable of running, he has the footspeed of a giant tortoise. You should also know he did not beat Pascal by being macho, he was struggling in the fight using those tactics, he started to pull away when he used his jab to dictate the fight. Which is probably what he intends on here. Now shut the **** up for ****s sake...

I've never seen Froch run yet. I dont think he will in this fight. More just use his natural size/reach advantages. But there's no doubt that as they are both go forward fighters that this fight is going to have lots of fireworks along the way.

Why on earth anybody would have a bad thing to say about Froch is beyond me. In an era where boxing is more about politics/money than it is actually getting in the ring, Froch shines out as the ONLY exception. Look at his recent, consecutive opponents:

    1. Kessler
    2. Dirrell
    3. Taylor
    4. Pascal

And now he's taking on Abraham...

    Simply, enough said...

It's actually a rule of the internet that the longer a thread goes on the chances of it turning in to a MW mocking session increase

The Froch-Abraham matchup is the only fight in recent years that I'm greatly anticipating. Both of these fellows are hard men with granite chins and can punch.I'm not much of a prognosticator but I can't wait to see the battle.Let the fireworks begin.

Froch is probably just talking ****. He only fights one way. He is an exciting fighter that is not afraid to take a punch or risks.
