Some may find that strange but I think Floyd Mayweather is the same with his weight, never really has to lose anything and always 147 most of the time.

    Source - Froch's twitter.

Who was it who told me Froch kills himself to make the weight?

That's about the norm for froch to be fair plus the fact that it was postponed during training, froch always give 100 percent, unfortunately ward will make it a **** fight being dirty fartin about Nippin most rounds, froch will have a second wind but it'll be to late for that, I hope he gets the bute fight rather than ward.

Froch was at 168 3 weeks before the Johnson fight. Even when he's not in training he must eat well.

Dunno, I would say it's a fair assessment to say he works hard to maintain weight, though. As in he lives super-clean and doesn't allow himself to pack on weight between camps. That's not "killing himself" though.

If the Twitter is correct and it's not a typo, someone should really tell Carl that the fight is in 3 weeks, not 2weeks.

I think it is Carl’s nose that attracts the ladies. Its unusual crook probably gives certain… sensations to the ladies when Carl’s munching away.

He looks after himself in general, eating right and keeping fit. Hopefully the time they’re not spending on him getting the weight off is being spent on his tactics for the fight. Ward is beatable, but Carl’s going to have to pull out the performance of his career.

It’s all about his jab for me.

And that’s the way it should be done. Hopkins is another guy that rarely walks into training camp 10 pounds over his limit. Pacquiao, having adopted the same approach during his time at welterweight, has obviously benefitted from it, too. And Mayweather’s gone through a well-maintained, natural progression from 130 to 147. In all of his fight night weights, he’d rehydrate no more than 5 or so pounds.

Froch has always had a freakishly perfection type attitude to training anyway so im not surprised that he is at the weight already. Read before that he keeps a record of every single thing he eats, on a daily base.

I saw a Nazim Richardson interview a while back, talking about how Hopkins is his own chef in camp. Not trusting anyone else with his food.
