The thing is with Froch is he may not always be the prettiest or the winner but one thing is for sure he puts it on the line and is a true warrior. I respect men like Froch

There is no chance of Bute fighting Froch in Nottingham. None.

Ward is coming off his career best win.......BUTE IS ALL OVER HIM, even in his hometown. Yet Ward.............seemingly wants to wait 7 months and then fight Kessler again.:rofl

Imo. a smart move from Bute. People don't like him mostly becaue he is perceived as a protected stay at home fighter who could handle it outside his comfort zone anyway.

Now he is taking on a good fighter in England. And if he wins or even (because many will then yell robbery) if the fight is even he will get a lot of credit and join the top of the division.

And stylistically Froch is well suited to Bute because Carl is tough tough tough.... but Bute has been practicing beating tough boxers his entire career... like Bika, Magee, Andrade etc. Sure, Froch is the king of toughness probably, but Bute still has a stylistic advantage.

With the fight in England this becomes a very interesting fight that everyone wants to watch.

Not if Showtime picks it up. They would prefer it to be at 9 or 10 PM, not 4 in the afternoon.

Now, Froch has said it won't be in May, so KNottingham is likely out of the bargaining. So that means it will likely be Montreal......BUT...........there's more money with UK TV and a larger UK stadium than Bute and Interbox can make in Canada........which leads me to believe that Showtime has agreed to this fight.

It'll be the April date, on showtime, in Canada, BUT, Froch will have to fight another Showtime fighter later this year, and Bute will as well.

So, looks like we'll get Forch vs Tony Dirrel and Bute vs Dre this summer.

If that's showtimes plan, Im all for it.

Now, Tony needs to get him a big win, and Dre needs a decent one to build up some hype. Where's Pavlik at when you need him.

Look who pops out of the ashes yet again. Just a reminder, weren't you arguing in another thread that the current heavyweight division is packed with elites?

    Spare me your idiocy please.

That is only for the US though.

In Europe Froch vs Bute would be a bigger pull.

Remember how they glorified Glen Johnson as he was gonna fight Bute, saying he "almost beat Froch", when Froch was so obviously on auto pilot the whole night of the fight against Glencoffe.

Then when he never was close to hurting Glencoffe, the same Butte-lickers said "He hurt his hand, if he was 100% he'd knock Glencoffe out with a left hook to the liver".

Hopefully they go to England and take a risk against Froch, if Froch has anything left he'll kayo the fraud and that'll be the end of it all on here, it'll be worse than JMM's ******* purge last year.

That's what I hope too. Froch is a roadwarrior and deserves a homecoming.

Hope he does, though don't expect him to leave Canada for anything really. All of this "I'll leave Canada to fight Ward" stuff is pure ***** ****.

Funny thing about Glencoffee was those guys claiming the tournament is a joke and pointless. Now Bute is cherry picking fighters that lost out of the tournament. I can remember them cracking jokes about Glencoffee being in the tournament yet when Bute fought him, he was prime material. Bunch of clowns. Love the "left hook to the liver" stuff, I'm sure you saw them claim Bute being one of the greatest body punchers of all-time.

Absolutely, you know a couple of weeks back I had one of these Butte-lickers arguing with me about Michael Nunn being a better body puncher than Bute. He was telling me Nunn wasn't the better body puncher and that I was merely hating.

    :rofl:lol:

Can YOU IMAGINE what Michael Nunn would do to this fraudulent fighter they call Lucian?

I'm sure the ****** was judging based on the Miranda and Brinkley extravaganzas.

The fraud wouldn't even make it to fight Nunn. He would be fighting cans in Canada till he retires as the greatest body, head and testicle puncher of all-times, Calzaghe style.
