Froch is mr excitement - i guarantee even the haters will be breaking their neck to see his next tear up.

I chuckle when people say Froch was crap against Taylor, yet say Hopkins was unlucky not to win.

Froch KTFO Taylor, there is literally no debate.

He began the fight stone cold and dry on account of having 9 mins to glove up and get ready after Showtime decided to bring forward the main event after Allan Green won.

He started slow, wheras Taylor started fast and that cost him 4 of the first 5 rounds.

From the 6th onwards it was a pick-em fight, with Taylor's activity decreasing and Froch's increasing - especially during the first half of each round.

Taylor was looking to end each round big, but people could see that.

Froch came from right behind to within a point or two on 2 judges and then the other judge had Froch winning - despite a torrid start and a knockdown.

He's a good finisher and showed it.

Froch is good at what he is good at being consistent, but he will never be a great fighter, because he does not have the skills.

He does not have any defence or technical ability though. The guy throws this stupid uppercut from long range that leaves him wide open when he misses. When he tries to jab to the body he does not get his feet there so he ends up reaching in. Technically he is one of the worst Champions active today.

    :patsch

Froch is good enough to win a belt but isnt that good all around.

I dont think he will make too many title defenses.

Froch is a decent fighter. He should get a lil more respect.

I think pretty much the same. Froch is very exciting to watch but I can't stop telling myself his lack of skills will cost him his belt sononer than later. If you look at my avatar, you'll understand I thought Taylor was the one who could do it.

I know better Froch's assets but haven't changed my mind on Froch's flaws. Some may call me a hater. I don't think so. In fact, I'm glad Froch won because I can't wait to see him against Bute. It's always good to be the first one to take away the 0. With Froch-Bute, one 0 would have to go. Froch's 0 if you ask me.

You are not a hater you are just stating what is painfully obvious to the rest of us. :good

Usually a counter puncher has to draw leads from his opponent, but you dont have to do that with Froch he puts himself in arms way for you. He does everything that a good counter puncher loves.

He reach when he punches, he throw strictly inside punches from outside, and he loads up when he throws those unconventional punches which means you have more time to nail him when he misses. He does not get his feet into position when he jabs either. He does not bend from the knees or back. He is upright.

The things he does do right is..........he keeps coming, takes a good shot, has good pop. He does seem to be a cool finisher to, he hardly missed a punch against Taylor once he hurt him.

lets be fair mate, even you said it yourself, FROM round 8 onwards...everybody who knows boxing knows taylor is a blow out after 6 rounds...he sure as hell werent winning the earliar rounds to suggest his boxing skills were up there..he purely relied on stamina.
it paid off against taylor but not sure how long that is going to work for him...

ps im glad he got decked ....
