    To put things into perspective and I'm not knocking Froch but that fight with Kessler would of been a European title fight back in the day which meant something when there wasn't all kinds of "world" titles going about. The World champ/ no. 1 is obviously Ward.

    Apparently Frochs favourite fighter is.......surprise surprise.. Naseem Hamed!

    Forch deserves credit and yes, as Janitor mentioned earlier, Froch has to share his era with Andre Ward.

    Or he could do a Calzaghe and wait till Wards about 40, then maybe challenge him

    Naseem Hamed was a league above Froch. No question for me.

    Carl Froch has always had delusions of grandeur as far as how "great" he believes he is. I will give him credit though, he's a tough S.O.B. who takes on all comers so at least he backs up some of his delusional talk a bit.

    But he's not the greatest british boxer ever, there's several guys above him on the list.

    And as far as the United Kingdom as a whole, there was a Welshman back in the early 1900's by the name of Jimmy Wilde who is widely considered the greatest boxer to ever come out of the United Kingdom. I've seen videos of his fights (mostly choppy film,) and he's considered one of the greatest, if not the greatest, flyweight of all time.

    I don't think for a second that Carl genuinely believes that.
    But in the age where publicity is king when it comes to boxing, Frochy plays the public like a prime Stefan Grappelli.

    When he says these things and you(as in everyone who gets annoyed by him) feel your blood boiling,take a deep breath and say;
    "Carl Froch.Comedy genius"

    It makes for far more satisfying entertainment.

    Is this really getting to you people? ****, it isn't any worse than Floyd calling himself the GoAT with the shitty resume he has.

    Legacy wise, I rank Froch better than the names mentioned there , including Calzaghe. Just look at Froch's resume, he just fights and the best and beats them.

    Face to Face Calzaghe wins thought, but Calzaghe stayed in the UK fighting bums too much.
