If you happen to get away with bad technique, it's still bad technique.
Says more about the competitiveness of smw boxing lately than anything else.

 

no awkwardness is hard to adjust too, i remember video on herol graham on here when he just to fool with people and challenge the punters in the crowd to try and hit him. he said something like some are harder to avoid than boxers in the gym because there so unpredictable you never know what there going to through. ive had that myself sparring beginners catching you more than novices and more experienced fighters. there technique is so wrong it works. his punches from low hands are probably hard to notice coming up and in all sort of angles, dont help his defence much though.

 

uhh i was making a 'logical' point is all.
don't confuse 'technique' with 'by the book', the two needn't be the same.
you can be unorthodox but still have excellent technique.

 

ye but i would think drunk punters trying to throw at herol graham would have no technique, and my own experience when some beginner charges at ya throwing all sorts with **** technique, sometimes takes ya a few rounds to adjust, there not throwing jabs and right straights there pulling hayemakers out of there back pocket. not that i was any good but i did have a few bouts. and froch sneaky right uppercut cross thing as caught a few decent fighters. looks terrible when he misses though.

i know the point you made was supermiddleweight division isnt very good, but it must be one of the best out there imo.

 

Never seen him looking so good. Quite frabkly he should be made to eat nothing but donuts for the next 5 days to give George a chance.

Open workout really means nothing, it's the fight that counts............

 

Froch fans were saying he looked brilliant last time there was an open workout and he got schooled on that occasion to. Reading anything into it is ridiculous.

 

The only huge mug is the one i'll be filling with Champagne when Carl sends the ginger whinger to sleep.
