p4p Haye is clearly better, that's what p4p means, if they were the same size in the same division who is the better boxer

It's not 'who has the better resume' which would be Froch

Lb for Lb Haye is better

Haye is alot more athletic, that is the only thing he has over Froch.

Its sad really ..I mean did they just wipe out the memory of the Wlad fight as well .. And if were looking at his skill set look at his fight with Valuev..And just compare that to an over 40 Holyfield ..Thats the definition of skill ..Not throwing bombs and running away ..This is a joke ! Froch is much more skilled than Haye and has proved it over and over again even after his losses !

That's not how I rank p4p. If that were the case, I'd have Rigondeaux and Golovkin in the top 10 but they have not proved it yet, therefore do not deserved to be ranked as p4p talents.

Also, it's very debatable who is better. Haye was the top man at cruiserweight but it was and is a rubbish division. So much so, the likes of Kessler, Ward, Dirrell and Froch are better p4p like you say, than anyone in that division.

Then you are misusing the term :good

Ants are pound for pound stronger than humans because they can list 30 times their own weights

Floyd Mayweather is pound for pound the best boxer on the planet, though there are people who have better resume's and through size difference would beat him 1 on 1

Might be being anal, but just saying

Haye is a better boxer, has superior upperbody movement, handspeed, power, footspeed, counter punching ability

Froch has a better chin, that's about all I'd give him over Haye p4p

Froch also has a better resume of wins

No. P4P rankings are determined mostly by who you fight and beat. Unlike Froch, Haye's operating in a shitty division where decent opposition isn't available.

But if you were to shrink them to the same size and transfer their physical talents accordingly, then Haye would destroy Froch. P4P wise, actually, Haye's actually a very special fighter. If you ignore all of the toe bull**** and his antics outside, he'd be an elite fighter in any division.

And not forgetting Froch's SUPERIOR mental strength which has taken him this far.

I'm not sure he has superior mental strength, Haye hasn't ever quit in a fight has he, knowing you can walk through shots and doing so, and knowing you can't and having the brain not to try (unlike amir Khan) doesn't indicate a lack of mental fortitude...anyway brb gym.

    Let's take a look

    Froch:

    Bute
    Pascal
    Dirrell
    Taylor
    Johnson

    Haye:

    Mormeck
    Valuev
    Maccarinelli
    Chisora
    Ruiz
    Fragomeni

Froch wins the title at home against Pascal, at that point Pascal had done very little, and after he did next to nothing in the SMW division.

Haye wins the title against Mormeck, in Mormeck's backyard. When Haye beat Mormeck, he was a unified CW world champion who already had multiple title defences.

Taylor, Dirrell and Johnson between them have won 0 titles at SMW. None of them are accomplished at the weight. Also, you point out that Ruiz was over the hill, Johnson lost to Froch, then got shutout by Bute, lost to a prospect then retired. He was hardly in his prime.

Taylor got KO'd by Pavlik not long before, and got destroyed by the limited Abraham after, he was pretty much finished by the time Froch fought him.

Dirrell is a hypejob, he's done next to nothing.

Maccarenelli was a CW world champion when Haye beat him

Fragomeni won a CW world title after losing to Haye

Ruiz's HW resume speaks for itself, 2 time HW world champion.

Valuev was a HW world champion, who had a record of 50-1, neither Klitschko would face him.

Haye destroyed Chisora who got robbed against Helenius and pushed Vitali Klitschko hard.

Now take into account that Haye has done it over 2 weight divisions, I give it to David Haye. Just because you haven't heard of a fighter or haven't seen him, doesn't mean he isn't a very good fighter. The likes of Mormeck are more accomplished than e.g. Dirrell

Haye lost to Wlad in a similar fashion that Froch lost to Ward. I'd say Haye is more skilled than Froch, remember Carl isn't facing guys who outweigh him by 30-100 pounds

P4P = Resume. If we are talking skill wise, then it would upside down the whole P4P list

    He's beaten far better fighters.
