Carl Froch=overrated

Yeah, I'm not getting carried away or anything either, but even before he beat Bute (and I was thinking he was going to lose) I was thinking there was a lot of style matchups that would favor Froch at 175. . .

I agree about Dawson, and Campillo being all wrong for him. . .Both those dudes are pretty big 175 pounders, and would have too much movement. . .

But I agree with your breakdown of all those fights - exactly how I see them playing out. . . I think Cloud/Froch would be a very aesthetically pleasing fight. . .

Yeah. . That's why I'm kinda thinking he should wait to rematch Kessler, because that fight will always be there, and it's the type of fight where he could take career ending punishment. . .

Kessler is there for the taking IMO. Injury has sapped his explosiveness and I'd much rather Mikkel lose to Froch than some bellend like Andre Dirrell.

Couldn't agree with you more. He tries to come off as a skilled or even slick boxer when in reality he is as sloppy as any fighter I have ever seen.

Don't confuse awkwardness with sloppiness. . . Froch shoots that Malignaggi like "up-jab" from the waist. . Very few boxers can pull this off, especially boxers that don't have the speed like Malignaggi.


He doesn't "try" to come off as anything other than he is. . . But when he's in against a boxer who only knows how to come forward, he can easily, and effetively take the role of boxer-mover off the back foot, and counter-puncher. . . Hell, even against Bute, he played the role of effective counter-puncher. . . Got Bute to lead with feints, and popped him off with that straight-right.

 

Yes a proper discussion where all you are saying is: Froch=no good because he can lose.

hmmmm maybe OP isindeed only 17. I dont agree with his post. That said, I dont feel the need to call him a "******" or say how I would check his chin or mention his facebook account. Take it easy here people/ cyber bulllying does exist. There is a fine line. Back off. If you know someone is juvenille and you start posting that stuff it can have a real negative effect. Think twice before making silly aggresive remarks. It makes those (slagging) remarks of the OP, very hypocrticial, if anything.
