    JOE CALZAGHE RESUME

joe calzaghe is The only one in history to become Undisputed super middleweight champion he has had 24 championship fights has 3 ATGs on his resume

Bernard Hopkins, the best middleweight of all time he has 25 world tltle fights

    NAME 1 ATG FROCH FOUGHT?........

JOE CALZAGHE IS 1 OUT OF 4 MEN IN HISTORY TO HAVE OVER 20 TITLE DEFENCES

JOE CALZAGHE IS THE SECOND LONGEST-REIGNING WORLD CHAMPION IN HISTORY?.....

WHEN CARL FROCH RESUME MATCH THAT LET ME KNOW:deal

    CARL FROCH'S RESUME

CARL FROCH FOUGHT THE BEST BUT HE NEVER BEAT THEM......WARD/KESSLER

carl froch beat 1 SMW CHAMPION and beat 1 former smw champion

carl froch lost to 1 smw champion and lost to 1 former smw champion

froch is 2-2 at the elite level

His best wins are Lucian Bute and Robin Reid that the only guys that achieved something at 168

    Jermain Taylor
    Jean Pascal
    Andre Dirrell
    Arthur Abraham
Glen Johnson are all BUM'S contenders at best at 168 they never won a title at SMW so how can they be class as top wins

To the people that hype on about froch fighting away from home

    taylor was shot

Arthur abraham was coming off a loss the fight was on neutral ground

    johnson was 43 with 14 L L L L L L L L L L L L L L the fight was on neutral ground

KESSLER WAS COMING OFF A LOSS

All froch has done is won joe calzaghe vacant title made two defences loss to mikkel kessler...won kessler's vacant title made 2 defences and loss to andre ward then won a paper title that will soon be mikkel kessler's

WHEN CARL FROCH MAKES HISTORY LET ME KNOW:deal

Yeah but a large chunk of Joe's reign was a joke.Carl did more in terms of taking on top opposition in what? 3 years than Joe did in about 7.
And I'm a fan of Calzaghe and I think he'd outpoint Carl,so don't go down that route please.
Some of the hardcore JC fans change history to suit their agendas.Joe could have competed at the very top level at any point in his reign, but chose not to.
And Boxrec doesn't change what everyone knows deep down.

In the wash Froch will go down as the greater fighter...fact.

He has the mindset of a G and people will remember that fondly.

Poor old Joe was the better fighter but he left his run to late...Froch got straight to work and never looked back.

    Beautiful story...

However, Froch has faced better quality in their primes at an earlier stage of his career.

Joe's only quality win against a prime fighter was Kessler.

The TS obviously has an agenda as well as warped ideas.

So basically even with 2 loses Froch's resume looks better.

SR Leonard at 160? No pal, he beats neither.

    As for the thread.

Carl's resume matches and may exceed Calzaghe's. His talent does not.

In that molde, talent is only half the battle here.

Bernard Hopkins the best middlweight of all time, WTF? Hes not in the top 3. And Joe fought him at whatever age he was at lhw. They were both past it at that point.

Based on this logic Berbick beat shot Ali but that still makes him great fighter, when you beat a legend you became a legend right no matter how shot that fighter is??:nut

The only 'shot' fighter on his resume is Jones. That was a career ending cash out fight, VERY similar to the way Lewis finally beat Tyson.

Leonard would have few problems beating Hopkins at 160. He probably beats the guy in my avatar over 12 rounds too.

    Very underrated middleweight.

Past prime, and shot are different. Eubank's fight with Thompson proves that there was still gas in the tank.

He barely had anything left ,he was shot ..Lets not make it out to be more than what it was ..He lost his next 2 to a guy he could have handled in his prime with out much struggle! Eubank was no longer an elite level fighter by the time he faced Joe that was fact !

Correct, nor was he a poor fighter. Not by any means. Nobody ever mentions that Calzaghe handled a hostile atmosphere and the mind games of a savy vetran at an in experianced stage of his career.
