Didn't Calzaghe have to work very hard to make 168? Not sure if that's right, just something I heard. Would he have been at a disadvantage to go to Lightheavy earlier?

 

Froch got lucky against Taylor,

Froch got very lucky aginst Dirrell.

Calzaghe is in a different league to Froch.

I think if he wins the Super 6, he'll exceed Calzaghe in terms of resume.

In a H2H fight, I think Joe would've beaten Froch fairly easily but his resume leaves a lot to be desired. By entering the Super 6, Froch has shown more ambition than Joe did at any point of his career.

 

Calzaghe was a decent WBO standard champ.

 

Calzaghe was in close fights with Reid and Hopkins.

It's a good thing for him he's in a different league where you don't need luck.

Thank **** someone see's it logically. Calzaghe is all wrong for Froch, the way the Hopkins was all wrong for Pavlik. Froch will get a better resume without a doubt. Froch is by far the most courageous fighter out there. He will fight anybody and in their own backyards. If only Calzaghe would of done the same...
