"Froch finished the interview by stating that neither Khan or Golovkin has ever fought in front of 80,000 screaming fans at Wembley"
I met Khan and Golovkin at the Klitschko vs Fury fight. I was surprised how small Khan is and I was surprised how stocky Golovkin is. They may be similar in height and reach I don't know I never really checked but Golovkin is clearly a few weight divisions bigger looking at them both and he looks as solid as any fighter I've deer met.
Carl is just in that difficult position of realising that the best fights he could ever be in are now that he has retired. GGG and Kovalev destroy him. He really hasn't beaten anyone at this level. Kessler was past his prime when he won and lost against Carl. I also don't believe in this mythical position he has as this Iron chinned warrior , he fought two big punchers in Kessler and Groves and both seriously hurt him.
Thanks for putting this up dude that's me in the blue suit in the back ground. Thought I had lost my photos with Golovkin but I can still show this to my friends. I got a few with Khan and Lewis and Marco Huck.
I've liked Froch for several years now. He's not that talented of a boxer, but his heart, chin and power are definitely championship material. I remember when I first started to watch him fight around 2007 or so, he was on a mission to get a fight going with Joe Calzaghe. As he kept on winning, he continued to obsess about a potential matchup with Joe C. for a good 2 or 3 years which started to become kind of creepy. Unfortunately, I see this same cycle developing here with Gennady. Froch had a very nice career, definitely achieved more than I ever thought he would, and he should just enjoy retirement now. He's closing in on 38 years old, and that combined with him having over a year long layoff would more than likely spell disaster for him in a fight with one of the top guys out there such as Golovkin.
He was saved by the bell against Pascal and dropped against Taylor as well but I do think he has a good chin.
