As shown before. He was happy to go up to LHW if a fight with Jones was available otherwise he would have to drop his title.
    We know this also

You have double standards when it suits you as shown here

    No I didn't.

I said that he only travelled outside of Europe twice, and that everybody's circumstances are different.

Regarding your question, it's been answered numerous times over the years.

Other than Liles before he lost to Mitchell, there weren't any American SMW's to travel for. Nobody has argued otherwise. My point has always been that he should have moved up to LHW sooner, which was a more comfortable weight class, in order to target better opposition.

He moved up to LHW at 23/24 years of age.

What do you mean he moved up instead of facing Joe?

Joe wouldn't fight him in 2008, saying that he didn't excite him and that he'd done nothing to warrant a fight.

Or was this like the Pavlik incident, where Joe wasn't willing to fight him when he was known and it would have been a big fight, but he was willing to fight him when he was an unknown NABF champion?

He dropped back to SMW to face Andre Ward with disastrous consequences.

I have no agenda. It doesn't bother me that Dawson fought older fighters in: Johnson, Tarver and Hopkins. They were all relevant fights at the time.

    So do I.

Why do you have an issue with Ward having taken tune ups?

    I'm not making anything up.

Joe dismissed the idea of fighting Roy live on Setanta Sports.

Then after the Hopkins fight, he personally made contact with him and offered him a 50-50 deal.

    Seriously, how many more times?

What is it that you don't understand?

We've been doing this now for 6 years.

If we carry on, we'll both end up being sectioned.

    This was Joe's statement:

"If a huge, big money fight presents itself, I'd take it"

Well how was it ever going to present itself?

It could only have presented itself if Joe's circumstances had changed.

It was never going to present itself whilst he was defending a lightly regarded WBO belt in Britain.

There was no demand for the fight in the U.S.

There was no big money available to him.

Joe didn't get his true respect and recognition until he'd demolished Lacy in 2006. But before that he was relatively unknown outside of Europe.

Have you ever read Einstein's definition of insanity?

    Here:

"The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results"

    There are no double standards.

    We both posted quotes.

Yours was from last year, where he didn't discuss his pre-fight concerns.

Mine was from just after the fight in 2011, where he did discuss his pre-fight concerns.

    That's it.

You initially questioned whether or not he was concerned by it in the lead up to the fight, and I proved to you that he was.

There's absolutely nothing else to say on the matter.

There's no evidence he actually said that.

Although if Everett's multiverse theory is correct there may be a universe where he did and indeed there may be one where this interminable thread brings the entire globe to a state of vicious, unrestrained total war.
