Carl Froch should fight Andre Ward or GGG and take his beating like a Man.

froch isn't accomplishing much by staying in SMW and playing second fiddle to andre ward. it's time for froch to move up and take on the winner of hopkins vs. kovalev.

GGG has already stated he is not looking to move up even though he said he would fight anywhere between 154-168 which obviously isn't true. Ward also called GGG out and GGG hasn't even replied probably because he doesn't want to fight at 168 like I said. Froch has stated he would possibly fight Ward but it has to be in the UK it makes the most sense money wise which I am sure Ward wouldn't do even though it would be an easy fight for him. Ward already cleared out the division he needs to man up and move up to LHW and do the same thing there.

 

Froch is an old, past best, faded SMW, so Im surprised that he hasnt had more offers, and often wins, though I feel it is a weak era at SMW, with recycled fighters. The division has been made up of Calzaghe leftovers, which is what Ward and Froch have made their biggest wins from. Faded Calzaghe leftovers
Even old faded Froch pushed Ward to a close decision and Froch is arguably an ideal style for Ward, as Ward has not fought top undefeated SMWs and faster SMWs.
The real questions here could be -
Will GGG go up to SMW? Will Ward be willing to travel?

 

If you gave froch more than 3 rounds against ward you may have been watching the wrong fight. Was there and might have given froch 2 rounds

It was a close fight and definately not a schooling. even if someone scored wide for Ward, many rounds were close. Just look at Ward at the end.
Ward looked more composed than Froch, which gives a better impression of control, but try watching the fight without any commentary or sound, and you can see why the judges watched a close fight.
Ward was leaning and holding which isnt a clinic, like many would like to dream it was. Ward definately didnt close the show.

A SMW clinic was Jones/Toney, Calzaghe/Lacy, Kessler/Andrade, etc

Ward seemed to be struggling at the end, as he did against Bika and Froch is an old SMW.

Edit. I seem to recall on rewatching that I altered opinion somewhere and got a 115/113 scorecard for Ward

 

Carl Froch would beat the **** out of GGG. It would be funny as hell.

 

I probably didn't have it that close but it wasn't quite as one sided as post I see on here daily either.

 

Did GGG win the poll? If so we might see the fight right?

 

Possibly, doubt it will happen this year though. GGG has a fight basically scheduled in October and Eddie Hearn said Froch probably won't fight to 2015. GGG also has yet to move up to 168 too.

 

Froch draws 80,000 in England. Ward barely sells in Cali. Folks like to say boxing is a business. Let Ward travel to UK for Froch. He might have to if Goosen takes all his dough.
