One of the worst fighters i have ever seen try and claim to being among the best in their respective division. This guys is technically woeful, slow plodding offense, wings his punches, is wide open defensively at all times, slow on his feet, no head movement, average workrate. Massively over rated. Jermain Taylor is about a 95% certainty of absolutely schooling him, provided he doesn't manage to land a lucky punch. This guy is just a joke. He struggled with Brain Magee FFS. Have a look at the footage and see for yourself, in his most recent fight against a total bum. The guy has the natural ability and speed of Micky Ward, yet tries to fight like Roy Jones Jr. Its embarrassing. [YT]He6c9wnXwk8&feature=related[/YT] [YT]PLPS83Bsu5E&feature=related[/YT]
Difference in class. It will be clear. I mean you look at the level of competition that each have fought and it's a joke. JT fighting 3 top P4P guys. Froch? Yeah, ok. JT is going to have an easy day.
The first time I saw Froch (which was years ago - maybe even his debut) he reminded me of Hamed style wise - the way he leaps in.
Well, if Taylor is going to fight for a vacant belt against this guy, just mail Taylor the belt via FedEx. I'm going by what I see on this video. If he is much better and is just fighting the level of the opponent in front of him, then maybe we have a fight. That is a big maybe.
To be honest, I expect Froch to be shocked by the step up in class and get either knocked out after 9 or beat on a UD.
And if he can bang hard enough and often enough to get Taylor out of there, it won't matter a jot what happened in his previous fights - he'll be a title holder. Definitely have to be the underdog though, Taylor's resume is markedly more impressive.
I've only seen Froch twice so I'm no expert on the guy but from what I've seen he is absolutely a class or two below Taylor. I don't think it is going to be a question of if Taylor wins but instead how. Froch seems to have a solid chin so I'll go with Taylor by wide UD possibly taking 10 rounds or more.
