Yeah, sure he's never fought anyone in the top 25 at SMW, but Carl is a monster - clearly one of the best fighters in the world, if not the best; certainly the most deadly.

Carl Froch is the man that Pavlik should target, not Calzaghe, who is well past it and obviously ducking Froch, if he wants to prove himself.

But...of course, he's scared; who wouldn't be?! Everyone is ducking Carl "The Cobra" Froch!

Taking Pavlik out brutally would help bring Carl into the limelight he so clearly deserves. Pavlik would be a good stepping stone, a good start, even though he would get little credit for taking out a young, inexperienced and quite unproven middleweight, but the sad fact is that Froch has never been given any credit - they see him rolling and they're hating!:-( :verysad :-( :verysad :-(

Some here think Taylor will fight Froch next! Hello! :patsch Taylor needs to prove he has not been ruined by Pavlik before deserving a shot at Froch!:deal Maybe if he beat Kessler or Calzaghe, then yeah, he should be allowed to call out Froch...maybe...:bart

The Cobra deserves a lot more hype. Why are there so few Froch threads, people?:nono :nono :nono Froch is a better p4p prospect even than the great Gamboa, who isn't even a prospect anymore, but a top p4p star; you better believe it!:fire :fire :fire :fire :fire ...So, let's give him some credit!:deal

    Oh...and yeah...

FROCH KOs EVERYONE SOUTH OF 175 lbs!:fire :fire :fire

    Quality thread.

In fact, I would go as far as to say that Carl would win the first 14 rounds against Ray Robinson before stopping him in the final round.

One of the greats of world sport, to rank alongside Pele, Don Bradman, Diego Maradona, Michael Jordan and Tiger Woods.

I would back Froch to KO David Haye and Wlad Klitschko one handed, at the same time, in the same punch.

Man, you just don't wanna mess with the Cobra :rofl

I do actually rate Froch, but a fighter who seems to have all his opponents on two days notice and has his left hand on his banger cannot really be taken seriously.

I'd like to see him fight a top 10 fighter over the next 12 months, after all the Inkin mularky.

I'd take Froch to KO a prime Roy Jones Jr with the first punch personally. Two punches if he decides to carry him.

no doubt froch is a decent boxer who has power and he will get his world title chance, but he will have to step up in class soon as far as opponents go, shame the inkin fight fell through!!!

The top 10 are all ducking him - they have all been made offers but none are interested.

That is the line from his promoter Mick Hennessy, much the same as it is when Big Mick refers to two of his other big names, Junior Witter and Jon Thaxton, with Ricky Hatton and Amir Khan being the target.

Froch is just the best fighter in the world - no if's, no but's, Froch is king. In fact, the billboards of the UK are shortly to stop advertising Gillette Turbo and NTL - they will all carry the Froch moniker, whilst East Midlands Airport is shortly to be renamed Froch International Airport - a bit like 1990's Iraq

Get ready for Rocky 7, staring Carl Froch.

    Erm....

    No.

The Rocky series will discontinue, and will be replaced by a new concept.

Cobra I, II, III, IV, V & VI

Yea I don't know what he's waiting around for. He should retire and join Audley Harrison in the hall of fame already.

    Stallone has already done Cobra.

Had his mental Mrs in it, Bridgit Nielsen.

This is a ridiculous thread! Froch, the best in the world? Okay, he's good, but at present I've only got him at No.3 on my P4P list - just behind Amir Khan and Audley Harrison.
