People go on about Froch being a hype job. They are wrong. The guy has had two title fights, both against elite level opposition. He's beaten better super middleweights than any other boxer in the super six. He's already beaten the LHW champ, plus the former unified MW champ. No one else boasts a resume like that. He has an iron chin He's the hardest puncher in that division Contrary to common belief, he can box - as he showed in the latter rounds against pascal. This guy also retired robin reid before stepping up. He's been a world class operator for about 18 months now. He is in the prime of his life. I see only two boxers that can stop him winning the super six. 1) Abraham, if he handles the wight gain well 2) Taylor, if he handles his stamina well But in my opinion, do not be surprised if in another 18 month, Froch is still unbeaten and a double belt holder.
Who says he's a hype job?:huh Feet of clay and not even a basic understanding of defence maybe. But hype job?
Frosh is not a hype job, fighters with a belt are not hype jobs, but he's not the second coming of Jesus.
Froch did hype himself a little too much with his claims that Joe Calzaghe needed to fight him, JC didn't need Froch and would habe been an overwhelming favorite. Froch hasn't beaten better opposition than Kessler. Taylor was a good win, but Kessler's complete domination of Beyer was more impressive than Froch last second KO over a mentally fragile fighter who had lost two of his three previous fights. Kessler has been consistent over 43 pro fights, never a bad performance, Froch's career is still too young to measure up to that.
What's with all these threads by insecure Froch fans with victim complexes? No one is bad mouthing Carl Froch, he is what he is, a flawed fighter with a big punch and big heart but the more you bang on about it, the more people will get annoyed and will start attacking him.
People have bad mouthed froch, for the record i'm not a froch fan, nor am i insecure, please someone please tell me they agree with me and that they like me, please
