Steve Bunce said that Froch with a desperate voice said this to his trainer during the breaks in the fight. Apparently it was the body punches that got to Carl and made him say that.

    _______________

From my perspective this makes a lot of sense. Froch was hurt to the body with a left early on (round 1) and he would then turn around so it was harder for Kessler to land there again. However, this also meant that Froch had trouble throing his own right because of the distance he put in to guard low.

If they fight again I think Kessler will exploit this even more and Abraham may be thinking about this too.

If you haven't noticed Froch is a very confused individual.

Now carry on agenda driven Joe.

Abraham should think about throwing punches at all.. Since he is much shorter hitting Froch to the body should be easy. But he gonna need to be more active. If he is Froch will go down!

Guys listen i swear Buncey was right - i was listening on BBC Five Live and they went into Frochs corner between rounds and he was like "These body shots are a ****ing ****" and "They're killing me" - Even in the interview after for Five Live he said that the body shots ****ed him up

Yeah, but better that so he knows he has to work on this rather than thinking noone knows, and then someone figures it out.

Na better he works on it and no one knows either - Froch isnt the sharpest tool in the box mate. U keep ur weaknesses secret and work on them like a mother****er!

going to the body is smart as hell, slowed Froch down enough in the middle rounds for Kessler to take the fight

I actually think Froch is pretty clued in. I think he will work to fix this.

    ____________

Kessler on his side let Froch get away with doing pirouettes and losing balance multiple times - and he has admitted this after the fight. Kessler would just stand there and wait for Froch to regain balance and be 'ready' again before throwing. This is something Kessler can work on a lot. That is being too much of a gentleman.

was it the first time someone focused on his body in a fight? he was a champion.. how come he has that weakness when it is known to be the basic of being a boxer?

He has the longest reach of anyone in the tourney and getting to his body is not easy. also he seems deceptively slow, so I guess people have always been tempted to go for the chin.

sounds like it. but now i think froch would beat himself to death training his body. especially against AA who's a power puncher. froch has too much damn pride to just let go of his 0 just like that. he will bounce back.

This was something that worried me before the fight and it also caused Kessler some trouble in the fight. He had difficulties throughout the fight with Froch's pawing jab.

shows how tough he is by sucking it up and still laying it on thick down the stretch. I fear for him against AA though, i think Abraham might put a hurting on froch if hes not smart...

what do you mean he had difficulties, Froch wasn't landing at all with the pawing jab?
