Carl Froch v Andre Ward

If Froch goes to war with him then Ward will hit and hold and try to spoil his way to a decision. Carl Froch is not Alan Green though and could bully Ward.

 

Awesome. In November time right? I'd be more up for this than Pac-JMM which I was thinking about going over for.

 

The Son of God will need to get down on his knees and pray once Froch has roughed him up for 36minutes ! :bbb

 

As much as I'd like to see Froch win, it's just very difficult to see him getting the better of Ward.

we all knw ward has **** all power, and froch has decent power....

so i see it as froch being peppered by ward and still coming after ward cos froch has a solid chin, and after so long froch will catch ward with a big shot and put him on his arse, he may get up but froch will finish him off imo......

ward is a very good boxer but i think he will get knocked out in the final imo.

 

Ward to win a UD in a dirty fight. I think Froch would test him more than anyone else has though.

Quick bump in view of last nights fight. Although he was never going to look great against Johnson, and not that Johnson/ Ward is any sort of stylistic comparision, I didn't see anything to make me change my mind on a clear Ward points win.

 

I also find it odd the way people are advocating Froch try to turn this into a brawl on the inside. Froch is a tough guy (goes without saying) but he won't win a brawl with Ward. Like someone said, Froch has never demonstrated an ability to batter guys on the inside or by staying in the pocket. He applies pressure in the late rounds because of his relentlessness and by constantly coming forward, not by boxing like a Mexican.

Imo Froch can't win this but his best strategy will be to start fast, concede the middle rounds then apply pressure from 9 onwards when his conditioning will help him and look for a stoppage

 

I honestly haven't seen anything from Ward that suggests that Carl Froch can't beat him... Not saying that his is a hype-job but I think some people are getting very carried away with him.

 

froch beats ward imho just to tough ward will wonder what the **** he is in front of come fight night, credit to a 42 year old johnson though ward would not of done a better job once again frovh wins the tourney:yep

 

Ward will frustrate Froch... Expect a wide UD win for Ward.

As much as I like Froch it's a Ward decision unfortunately.
