Ward can be a dirty fighter, I wonder if Froch will get dirty. Froch can be when he wants to be, yet also behaves at times like against Kessler.

I don't think so. I've seen enough of Ward to tell me that there ain't many ways to beat Ward. He is a multidimensional fighter. Can fight on the inside, can fight out the outside, makes adjustments, isn't afraid to use rough house tactics and the fact he hasn't lost a fight since he was 13 says he has the mentality of a true champion. That's insane, even though most of that record is in the amateur discipline, to not lose in 13 years in any sport says a lot.

When I look up all the avenues of possible outcomes for Froch (what type of game plan he brings) I come the the same conclusion every time. Ward victory.

I think Dirrell, for all the ***** that he is, could present Ward with problems he's never faced. His fast hands and lateral movement combination could be just the type of fighter that is Ward's kryptonite. In my opinion, the only fighter at 168 that has a good chance of beating Ward is Dirrell. Would love to see how he'd handle a prime Calzaghe also.

You guys picking Froch are going to be in for a bad surprise I'm afraid. I've no idea how you see Froch beating this guy. He ain't going to hit him!

I agree ward is to fast elusive for froch who has a so so defence. Calzaghe would of beaten ward as he is the kind of fighter ward would avoid and be difficult for him to dominate

Yeah I agree, I'd love to be wrong on this but I think Ward's movement will make Froch look flat-footed and lethargic and I don't think he'll get the chance to set himself and get his punches off.

Exactly i just can't see Froch winning, he will be beaten to the punch all day long.
He can't force his way inside as he will take some shots to come inside and ward will just step back and maintain the distance again and they start again.

It'd be good for boxing if Ward becomes a star in America if/when he wins the Super 6.

Don't but know but last night there was something not right about Froch, he seemed a bit tried he was starting to gas in around rd 3 a bit, not like him.

Did that ear thing effect him? Don't know but his workrate was low, don't get me wrong at times Froch dug deep and done great but something was not right.

Vs Ward Froch needs to up his workrate which will be the key to beating Ward.

Ward is gonna take this via pretty wide UD IMO.

Shame to say but Froch is not going to be sharp or fast enough to deal with Ward.

    This :deal
I really wanted to see Ward-Dirrell. I give Dirrell a good chance of beating Ward.

Froch will be strong enough to push the crowding Ward back and get his licks in. But he's not a big enough puncher to change the fight dramatically IMO, and his success will be too sporadic.

If he gets anything sufficient in, Ward can outmanouver him with ease, bad knees or not. To be honest, I think Wards fast combos will mark Frochy up, and SOG might well hit Froch with such regularity he stops him late. It will be an outclassing IMO, despite Froch being of the top class himself, Ward is about as bad a stylistic matchup as I can think of for Froch (outside of Calzaghe ;-))

Ward would have too many tools IMO. He'd take away Dirrells confidence and bully him.

I think Ward is going to make Froch look like a novice first 4/5 rounds BUT then Froch's consistent pressure will grind Ward down in the second half of fight ? Froch by late KO

    I think you overrate Ward.

Abraham landed a massively high percentage of shots on Ward. That was genuinely a winnable fight had he been more active because any time he did throw punches, he was effective.
