Kessler's all wrong for Froch, Carl doesn't have the tools one needs to beat him, Mikkel controls him with the jab and stops him late, it'll be more competitive then Kessler vs Andrade but a similar outcome imo. Kesslers just too textbook and strong for a guy who fights with his face, i see Carl eating alotta big shots in this fight.

btw he can forget about that BC strap being on the line vs. Mikkel because it'll be sleeping with Ward.

I also have a feeling that Ward beats Kessler, fast hands, can spoil, may disrupt Kessler's textbook technique.

Froch will be wobbled badly if not knocked out and will lose. I will happily bet a tenner with anyone that froch loses, alhtough I wpouldn't mind if he won.

Froch thinks Kessler suits him but he really doesn't. Just because he *appears* to stand there for longer than Dirrell, it doesn't mean he's gonna be there all the time. Kessler can measure range. Difference is, Froch is going to be really punished unlike in his previous fights.

Tbh, I don't really see Froch even winning a round. Kessler will land, and land often with precise hard hits.

Froch's heart will be his own killer in this own. Kessler will make him turn 40 over night.

I didn't pay attention to the points situation so let me ask this:

Is it possible for a guy with a title or 2 to actually win the final fite on points for example and lose??

How does that make the winner the champ?

thoughts and if I mis-understand the system pls enlighten me>?

I think the odds are stacked against Froch, but at least Kessler comes to fight, possibly can be hit, where as a speedy Dirrell running all night, is possibly one of Froch's worst match ups.

Pre Dirrell how many would have had Froch Kessler 50/50, 60/40 against at worst? I think too much is being put on the Dirrell performance. He just highlighted Frochs limitations in a way no other fighter will to that extent. Against Kessler Frochs streanghts will be more to the fore. Weather this will be enough time will tell.
Kessler is quality agreed but his best compitition was in 2007. Would Froch have stopped Perdomo, Sartison, Haussler? IMO Yes with ease.

Plus Kessler offers Froch something noone else can, a yardstick against his 'Nemisis' JC!! Thats all the motivation he needs!

Head says Kessler, heart says Froch. I really think this one depends. If Kessler sticks to his boxing he wins this decisively. If Froch can force Kessler into a tear-up then I would favour Froch. Hopefully it will be a little clearer after Kessler has fought Ward. I like both these guys so I'm happy with either winning. I'm really looking forward to this fight.

Shouldn't this be BA strap? The BC strap will definitely be on the line.

Don't know why you're going for Froch, feller? Let me tell you, it's because you're the biggest nuthugger who ever lived, that's why. And one of the most stupid sons of bitches ever too.

This is something I feel too many people are looking into as well. I think it'll be hard for anyone to look good against someone like Dirrell and, personally, I think Froch has a better 'chance' of beating Kessler than he does Abraham if you consider the old 'styles make fights' adage; although I do feel Kessler will outbox the Cobra comfortably when they meet in the square circle, but Froch does at least have a small chance of victory.

That aside, Froch didn't have to enter this tourney and, even if he does lose his next two fights, he deserves huge kudos for taking part and testing himself against the best, IMO.
