Froch earn a lot of fans in Montréal since the Pascal fight like Pascal earn fans in U.K.!

Both fighters are known here , AA beat Demers and Froch-Pascal and since there so much love for Bute a lot of people are aware of the S-6!

Great news anyway for Montreal boxing scene if it happens!

That is the sad thing about that. Ward would have won the fight even without his dirty tricks. So why did he do it?

For the same reason that the 85,000,000 (yes, millions) Americans on English descent won't be supporting Froch if he fought in the US. They are not English, their ancestors were....

Yes, quite a lot of reason.

We're talking about a group of fairly recent immigrants that still have organisations and links to their homeland.

Cause he's American. European fighters get slaughtered for not fighting in the USA.

Haters gonna hate. One things for sure, Dirrell looked a lot more impressive against AA than he did against Froch, take from that what you will.

Well, that is just not true.

There is research clearly showing high levels of affinity between the US and the UK.

Think about it.... if England and Armenia went to war ..... would US citizens even consider supporting Armenia? No, there is a bond between the US and UK because of language, culture etc.

There is also great competition... but like brothers, if threatened they will mostly stand together.

you can't really compare 1st and 2nd generation immigrants to 4th+ generation.

I was going to say that myself. If Froch gets support it's only because of his fight with Pascal and the friendship that resulted from that fight.

Froch got a gift decision in his hometown. Foreing fighters get decisions in Germany all the time, this "every fight in Germany is a robbery" bull**** is plain silly. I was there when Chambers dismanteld Dimitrenko and got his due from the judges. it may be difficultto win very close fights by decision in Germany (though not impossible, Hill beat German hero Maske in a very close fight), but if you beat the German fighter clearly, you are in no worse position than elsewhere in the world
