I'm extremely interested in this fight. If nothing else, it'll be entertaining. Two guys who just lost their zeros, both known for power and punch resistance, both known to get a bit rough...I can't see any way this fight won't deliver.

Froch can 'box' all he wants, but he doesn't have it in him to run.

Froch will bag the first 4 rounds (barring a bizarre flash knockdown from Abraham) as Abraham executes his patented 'Give-the-first-third-of-the-fight-away' strategy. During the early going, Froch will jab and jab, then try to land a right hook to the body. When Abraham attempts to counter, Froch will try to counter with uppercuts.

In the middle rounds, Froch will be bored from boxing with a guy who is hard to hit cleanly. Abraham by then will start trying to explode late with combos. Froch will attempt to get close to Abraham in order to land body shots and rough him up. Froch may employ some holding and hitting in order to get Abraham's hands out of the way (and prevent counters). These rounds (5-9) will be swing rounds. Either you favor Abraham's clean counters (which will definitely be there) or Froch's workmanlike chopping away strategy. It's possible that either fighter will go down in these rounds, but not be significantly hurt.

Rounds 10-12 is when we'll see a war. One or the other will be far enough behind by then that they'll feel a sense of urgency. In these rounds, somebody WILL go down, but they'll get back up, possibly to return the favor.

I see Froch being conditioned enough to be stronger down the stretch, pulling out a close decision due to Abraham's inactivity early on.

    We shall see.

I'm also beginning to lean towards Froch in this fight.

Froch, along with Dirrell and Kessler have shown us new dimensions to their games as of late and are getting better.

If the three above listed fighters win their next bout as impressive as I believe they can, they will have seperated themselves on a higher level than the rest....

This next round of the S6 will be extremely telling and by far the most important fights of the tournament.
