Carl Froch vs Badou Jack @ 168 would have been insanely competitive, Jack with a slight edge

I’d favour Froch myself but it depends which Badou Jack we talking about, there’s the guy who has more draws than you shake a stick at and then there’s recent version of him totally juiced out of his mind and seems to have more power in the twelfth round than he does early on.
Ironically both these guys are known now for taking the souls of boxers,Jack gave Degale such a beating albeit in a draw that clearly Degale is finished as one of the top tier Super Middleweights.
Froch who fought who fought the Canadian guy(I’m sure going same way as my dad as I can’t remember names anymore)guess it’ll come to me but what’s Froch did to him was brutal lol and he took his soul even though he had a brief comeback but like Jack he was juiced to Hell I reckon lol.
Imo Froch would be too much, trading punches to get his own off and Badou Jack chin has shown to be pretty weak whereas Froch is like iron man.
As it transpired only Andre Ward was too much for Froch, death by boredom lol, does anyone on here ever revisit any of Andre Wards fights?lol you’d have to be some fan boy to wanna resit through an Andre Ward performance lol.

Both Froch and Kessler would be too much for Jack... Froch wins via late TKO/KO

Jack's a great fighter, but Froch would have too much for him in a very competitive fight. Froch gets a close points win.

Froch was briefly (well for a year and a bit) the man at SMW when Ward finally moved up.

Shame he never had that goodbye fight at the Forest ground.

Jack is a good fighter but Froch is a level above Jack. Jack had close fights with guys like Groves and DeGale. Past prime Froch stopped Groves twice in comparison and you'd have to be a fool to pick a guy like DeGale who switches off or can't sustain the pace against a relentless puncher like Froch.

Jack has always been underrated and always surprised, I think he's a good enough fighter to perhaps go the distance and give Froch a competitive fight, but Froch either wins a clear UD or stops him late.

No fighter in recent years has been unforgiving for his loss as my as Badou Jack's loss at the hands of Dereck Edwards.

    Jack struggled with DeGale.....

Jack lacks the boxing skill to make up for Froch's ability to just walk through him for 12 rounds.

God I hate how you guys have started overrating Badou Jack.
Carl Froch was a long, awkward boogeyman with reach, a good
dig and monstrous chin. I still have questions regarding Jack's sturdiness
when he's up against it. None of the fights after Edwards proved his sturdiness.
They were all guys that he was able to outbox and was stronger than late in the
fight. He will not be stronger than Froch late in a fight, He can certainly outbox
Froch for stretches (as have quite a few guys), but Froch's engine is nuts.
And Jack playing the tough, body attack role against Froch would be the
absolute worst gameplan, he can't win on the inside against Froch.

Froch out right ko (not tko): in 8

If anyone is getting overrated it's Carl Froch. I mean look at some of the adjectives you guys are using to describe him. Boogeyman? In regards to boxing, a boogieman is a fighter whom fellow fighters are afraid to get in the ring with. Who exactly was afraid of Carl Froch? Dude overachieved now everyone thinks he's some undestroyable Iron man. People like to make the George Grooves connection, less they forget that Grooves was beating Froch up and had him on ***** street several times until Froch landed that shot. Grooves probably would have went on to win that fight if only he wasn't so chiney. Look, Froch was lucky to receive two gifts against Dirrell and Kessler. Had he not, it might have changed the trajectory of his career.

Overrated? Froch beat everyone at the top of the SMW division except Ward. Then, beat up the top guy that wasn't in the tournament. That's overrated?

I never even brought up Groves, but the point you make is hilarious. You basically just said George Groves
would've won, if he hadn't lost. And you bring up a guy at the tail end of his career that he went 2-0 2kos
against, I've no clue what point you're attempting to make with that. I agree Froch was very lucky with Dirrell but Kessler, that was nowhere near a gift and he really should've been 2-0 vs. Mikkel. I said what I said.
