What I saw in the last fight of Froch is that he can change is strategy wich I wasnt sure he was capable of. In the AA fight he won by the jab and in the Johnson fight he won by his counter punching ability. So I think Froch will surprise a lot of people if this fight come to be and in the Ward fight. But Hopkins needs to survive the first couple of rounds to figure Froch out and then Hopkins could win it by a very tight decision.

 

He would give Froch a lesson in boxing.

 

I wouldn't be shocked if B-Hop won every round in this potential clash.

I dont like Hopkins, but i think he would be to smart for Froch.. On the other hand Froch could probably take a close decision by putting constant pressure on Hopkins.

The only thing Froch would have is those long arms, but Hopkins is smarter and faster, even at his age.

Calzaghe had 3, 4 and maybe 1. Jones Jr practically all. Far more interesting would be Ward - Hopkins. I reckon Ward has 1, 3 and maybe 4. Dawson 1 & 2?

 

Well Hopkins couldnt beat J Taylor in 2 attempts, Froch did it first time of asking.
Hopkins took 2 attempts to beat Pascal, Froch did it at first ask.
But as much as I like Froch and rate him, I think Hopkins would know too many tricks for Froch. I dont think Froch has much of an inside game, and I think Hopkins would exploit that. I think Hopkins would land a shot then hold leaving Froch a bit confused.
I could see Hopkins winning a fair UD.
I expect Hopkins would have to have the fight in America, hit low, use the head and hold illegally. Maybe Froch would win on DQ for Hopkins excessive holding, but I doubt it.
