Carl Froch vs. Chad Dawson, who wins?

Why is there no Dawson by decision option? That's what I think the outcome would be. . .

Dawson is just too fast, too powerful, and too good for Froch. . . Dawson is a ginormous 175 pounder. . . And I think (not sure, just been told by others) that Froch has said in an interview that "175 was all wrong for him. . . " Even though he looks like a sturdy 168 pounder, supposedly he doesn't walk arund that much heavier where he fights. . . But mainly the difference would be Dawson's style, skill, speed, and power.

I think Froch would survive because Dawson wouldn't feel tempted to go for the kill.

 

I could realistically see Dawson switching off and Froch ending him like he did Taylor.

I don't know. . . Dawson is a lot more elusive/faster than Taylor, and has never shown any signs of stamina/chin issues. . He got dropped by Adamek, but we saw what happened when he got back up.

He's also a southpaw, another dynamic that would be in his favor. . . Then add to that, he prolly rehyhdyrates to 190ish, and has a harder punch than Taylor, it doesn't look too good for Froch. .

Froch wouldn't be able to find range for his jab, due to Dawson being slightly taller, and rangier. . . and we all know Dawson is perfectly content with never trying to come forward. . it adds up to a 12 round decision for Dawson along the lines of 117-111.

I think I'd rather see Froch/Cloud, in which I would favor Froch in a shootout. . .

 

Oh yeah, I'd definitely jump all over either matchup. . . But I think Dawson/Froch would be more of a boxing match, and Cloud/Froch would be a FOTY type war. . .

I do think Froch would make Dawson have to work harder than normal. . . But unlike Johnson, Froch can't really apply smart pressure without taking damage, nor is he nearly as effective on the inside. . . And at range, in the center of the ring, Dawson just outboxes him.

 

Dawson UD, Chad would be more likely to ko Froch then the other
way around. Chad may have mental issues but he's not as soft
as some people make out. And he's been in with bigger punchers, more
highly skilled fighters and faster guys than Froch.

 

A motivated Dawson would dominate Froch.

 

It would be an interesting fight.

Dawson after some great work seems to like to take half a fight off, Froch is pretty relentless from start to finish.
