Groves did look elite. That onslaught in round 6 was sensational by him. He has a bright future ahead of him

Perhaps you can also explain why Ward won't leave California and won't fight without the ref and all judges being from the same state? Froch fights everywhere, Ward doesn't.

Remember that Groves has no promotional ties with Hearn now.

I would've picked Groves to beat Stieglitz back when it was supposed to happen.
Groves would absolutely smoke Stieglitz. This fight could've had 3 belts on the line.

Looked like Groves had an absolutely perfect gameplan for Froch. I think a rematch goes much more boring for a while but still ends in a Froch KO...be interesting how both camps adjust for a second time.

Also be interesting to see how Froch does when he isn't totally ****ed from the first round....heck of a punch. Would've iced anyone else, Froch swung right into it and caught it with his jaw flush.

I think Froch comes out more cautiously, but Booth with his master game theory can come out a step ahead in the planning

Last time I checked, Atlantic City was located well outside California.

:nono He is still in a Liepaja hotel room with the curtains drawn nursing a hangover and spooning Miss Latvia after raging until dawn at the epic Bigger's Better afterparty.

Well, I won a few quid on Froch 7-9 stoppage, but my Tappas spread, apple pie 'n box 'o beers I buy will be consolation food.
Froch as a boxer isn't top level after tonight. He'll always be a warrior, but he should retire now.
