    Gerald McClellan would annihilate froch, 1st round brutal KO.

    Sorry but him and quite a few other middles/super middleweights of that era were cut from a different cloth to the ones we have now.

    Not as ridiculous a question as some make out.
    I'm a huge fan of Mclellan and i'm sure he would have knocked Froch out, but Froch's excellant chin, heavy hands and will to win would make for a **** hot fight while it lasted.
    I'm of the opinion that the G-man could have been up with the stars of the sport had things turned out differently but im also of the opinion that tough tough men like Froch don't just lie down and get knocked out like that. He'd put up a fight against anyone.
    Not a mismatch but a knockout for Mclellan by the sixth.
