I agree with that Froch wont be able to box the whole time, Johnson is to good at closing the distance

I don't think it's a valid comparison either, but, to be fair, Johnson does often hide behind a shell defence and can be hit when there. Obviously Johnson is more well rounded but he employs the same defence and he's hardly elusive when he's in it. Abraham is tougher to break down and hit clean.

It's true that quick combos have frozen Johnson at times (early in Dawson I and at times in Dawson II and very few moments against Jones Jr.) and have led him to cover up. However, Johnson does not have the same shell defense that Abraham uses. Johnson has one of the stranger guards you'll see, when he's on he's giving different looks with it, but there will be moments when his left glove is almost literally touching his head with his palm out (and his elbow is also tilted at an angle). In general Johnson's guard is nothing like Abraham because Johnson likes to catch/parry straight punches in his gloves rather than having them partially blocked against his arms. He also uses upper body movement but thats become less frequent as he's gotten older.

Either way, I'm amped for this fight. I'm expecting a war.

Johnson will not take more than 4 rounds. He would lose this one even in US.

Let`s remember he was behind on two scorecards in the moment of stoppage in the Green fight. This time he can forget about stopping.

Johnson is a little slow, but he still has power. Froch better be careful and box until he starts to land his punches confortably.

Froch doesn't know how to quit. Neither does Johnson though.

Froch will win simply because he hits harder and is at the end of the day much quicker than that feather fisted fast throwing chump Chad Dawson anyway.

This will be a barn burner. Turn away @ your peril.

  8. Froch will win the fight for sure hes the no1 super middle hands down

Froch will win this, Johnson might cause some problems in the second half of the fight. But i feel Froch will do enough to outwork him, and out manoeuvre the older shop worn fighter...

Both are fighters you have to like for their attitudes and styles. Nice vid man, Carl will have just a bit too much for the road warrior, although Glen will have his moments.

Froch has no chance of KO'ing Johnson.

But I do think they will beat the daylights out of each other.
