I like how Froch handled his interview with Jim Gray, refusing to take any ****. "You were taking right hands regularly there..." "Really? It was regularly was it?" (Jim Grey gets clearly uncomfortable and backpedals) "Well, I'm not the one taking them...I don't know...did they hurt you?" "Well you know I've been blessed with a pretty good chin. Only Taylor dropped me and that was an accumulation shots and more about balance than anything." "Is your chin your best asset?" "Well, no. It's a valuable asset to have, but if that was all I brought to the table then Johnson would have won, wouldn't he? He's got the strongest jaw in the business" Johnson whining about another decision. It's become habitual for him. :-(
Johnson not complaining at decision. People who scored for Johnson he didn't do enough. Close fight but right decision.
Exactly what i was thinking....that was fukin creepy! lol and congratz to Froch on the win....he deserved it!
116-112 is about right. 117-111 is too generous to Froch. Very good performances from both men. Johnson is insanely good for a 42 year old. Froch has an iron chin.
Don't know what fight some people are watching. Glen landed the better punches, maybe 5 or 6 of them in total, but Froch landed a **** load more. Respect to both fighters though, not fight of the year but stilla great fight.
The judge's made Froch the winner, the commentary team and studio team made Froch the winner,AND Glen said he'd lost the fight, yet your questioning my scoring ??? 116-112 Froch end of:hi:
Look at punchstat numbers they each landed 40% of their total punches GJ landed 36% of his jabs vs 33% to Froch. Jab and power shots were the difference and GJ blocking the big shots. All good. GJ 7 rds to 5. Draw at worst. :hi:
