Froch showed he could vary his game when he boxed on the outside showing good skills to beat Abraham.
I think this would be the difference here, both are tough hard as nails strongmen but I think Froch has just that little bit more versatility.

This is a tough guy fight and Barkley although technically limited is as tough as it gets . Froch loved a fight and against Barkley he's coming up a short .

I didn’t particularly rate Abraham but he was a genuine tough guy who you had to respect.
My point was that Froch needn’t necessarily engage in a slugfest to win.
Let’s face it Barkley wasn’t exactly Floyd Mayweather.

 

Abraham was a flat-footed middleweight in a very poor middle era.
