Did froch outbox Abraham who hit hard? What is Barkley going to do? Carl outboxes him on the outside and has strength as well. Carl is taller has the longer reach and csn choose when to fight or box Barkley.
I am sorry but comparing the two is just silly.AA went into a shell from the first round on, barely thre a punch the whole fight.please.Barkley would put huge pressure and let the punches go
Hate to tell you but Barkley wasn't that good - he was an honest boxer who gave it his all. I saw the Tinley fight- he should have lost that fight. Sanderline Williams bout could have gone either way. Both Tinley and Williams don't hit as hard as Carl and both aren't as tall either. Both Tinley and Williams had no problem hitting Barkley. Saw Mcswain give Barkley a rough go too. I like Bsrkley. But he was very limited and he didn't have Julian Jackson type power. He always tried and had alot of heart. But your asking him to fight a bigger, stronger fighter who has more skills then he does.
He was hot and cold. We are talking Barkely at his best here. He is the only man on the planet to beat Hearns twice. I am really a fan of Carl but this is a bad style match up for him.Barkley is gonna come out firing, put that presure on him. Froch barely escaped with the win over Johnson and Barkely is going to bring a lot more pressure than that. I do not see Froch outboxing him like Nunn or kalambey. On the inside, Barkley with his hooks to the body and head will get through over the course of the fight, with Froch's low guard. Froch is competitor and that will get him into more trouble in this fight. So only chance I see for Froch is an early stoppage beacuse Barkley will come on in this fight. The chances for that are very slim though. That is about the best berakdown of the fight I can give you, whether you agree with the outcome or not
Iran was 6'1" Abraham some short flat-footed middle from a weak as **** era who stood in front of you with his hands up!
Then your putting your feelings for Froch ahead of what's real. Not only does Diuran from that night beat the hell out of Froch but the Barkley of that night does too
Oh dear. He'd be chewed up and spat out, bless him. If Kessler even made it to the ring. Marcus Beyer et al really put the fear of God into you didn't they.
I never ever saw Carl Froch throw a double hook or a sharp combination, hardly ever landed a counter right hand and never once weaved or fought off the ropes. His whole thing was walk through punches of former middles or basketball players or British fighters, to land his own slow-motion shots.
In all seriousness, these boys would **** themselves against a Barkley, Toney, Tyson or McClellan. At the press conf alone, let alone the weigh-in
Prime he was tough as ****, strong as ****, an hit like a *******, his put put become terrible, but at one stage he was a beast
