For the record, I'm no Taylor fan. I'm just a fan of the better fighter actually coming out on top. And when said fighter doesn't through no great miracle on behalf of the opposition it's a goddam shame.

No, I didn't think you were trying to discredit Froch but I've seen a few threads floating about this morning saying how Froch is still ****, and that he's basically a no hoper. Me, I can't stand Froch but I think he deserves credit for pulling this one out of the bag. :good

Because Froch's promoter is crap and talks bollocks he can't back up. Froch with Hayemaker or Frank Warren would of had live tv and be a bigger name here no doubt.

Nope. Froch can punch like a jack hammer and has an EXCELLENT chin. He can also fight for the full 12 and has done since he was an early pro. Jermaine lost this fight. This upset hasnt surprised me as Froch has two of the greatest assets needed in boxing to succeed.

Has it ever occured to you that stamina problems can come from a lack of talent in that departement?? In boxing, many seem to think that talent relates to technical ability and speed and that stamina is purely a matter of hard work. If that was so, then everybody should be able to run a 2:05 marathon. Fact is, a 2:20 marathoner runs as many miles as the 2:05 runner, the difference is in the talent. Soem fighters like Pavlik or Calzaghe are natural endurance athletes, some like DHL or Taylor are natural sprinters who tire more easily. You can#t change your genetic makeup. Without hard training, Taylor would probably gass out in round five.

Taylor hasnt been the same since the first Hopkins fight. I wasnt a fan of him then and I'm still not a fan of him now. I havent seen this whole fight but from what ive read and what I hear Taylor was ahead on the scorecards until he gassed out. Ive never seen Froch fight, but I do read a lot about him talking ****. I'll have to watch him before I make any conclusions.
