Lets say Jermain Taylor and Carl Froch waz to have a rematch but this time it will be a 10-round fight!! Would it be the same result as the first fight? must i remind everybody Taylor waz ahead of 2 out of the 3 scorecards coming into the 12 round and IF HE WOULD HAVE SURVIVE THE 12TH RD!! Carl Froch would have been undefeated!! and Jermian wouldve been the new champ!! I say Jermian would be much better prepared for Froch and beat him quite easily in my eyes if this type of rematch waz to be made.I see Jermain winning this time by wide UD!! THOUGHTS???

    Taylor.

I'd take Taylor in a 12 rounder as well.

Pretty much every fighter has his kryptonite. The historical record seems to indicate that a big tough son of a ***** who doesn't care if you beat the crap out of him is JT's kryptonite. Just look at his losses, and you can see that.

Froch impressed with his come from behind win! Looking at Taylor in the 2nd fight with pavlik he was very tentative...I believe his memory of the KO would lead to the same sort of over cautious mentality, which is never a good thing. Froch much like Pavlik will have the added confidence of already knowing he had beaten Taylor, which can only make Froch better and more effective. I still believe taylor has slightly better skills that translate to a narrow points lead...for me the the biggest question would be how is taylors endurance. He seems to fade down the stretch, and unless (if even possible) he can rectify that he is probably in for a froch come from behind KO, or if he is over cautious he can survive and lose a decision. If he can improve his conditioning so he can last down the stretch he could pull this out...But if I'm betting, I would put it on Froch!

If it were 10 rounds Jermain may subconsciously slack off during training and have even worse stamina.I'd pick Froch regardless

Jermain would undoubtedly win a rematch, he handed the first fight to Froch, he would be smarter in a rematch, possibly ko Froch.

Froch KO. He would be overflowing with confidence, but with the knowledge that Taylor can hurt him and he would use more controlled aggression and pressure. Taylor took some monster shots late in that fight. Who knows if his chin will be the same? Either way his confidence will be shot and he will box even less aggressively, which in turn will give Froch more chances.

    Froch takes it.

His fight against Taylor was a good lesson for him, because he learnt without actually having to pay the price.

He relied too much on his chin (not realizing that even if he doesn't go down, the fact that he's being landed on cleanly costs him rounds), but also learnt that as strong as it is, he can still be knocked down.

In his next fights he has to use the jab well, stay active in rounds, not just rely on KO power, and bring some form of defence.

If he does fight Taylor again he will probably go all out on him and get an early KO.

Are you really willing to bet on JT fighting smart? I'm not. Been there, done that, and wore a Jermain Who? avatar for my trouble!
