Until I see something impressive out of Pavlik at 168, I'd have to go with Froch too. He's a more savvy operator than people give him credit for. More than I was willing too for a while too.
YOu think a Trainer change would be enough to acutally get him a win? i dont think it makes much of a difference.
I'd have to with Froch right now, would be a great scrap though. Maybe if AA wins and Froch doesn't make the semi-finals they could set this up.
I might take Pavlik...Froch has **** movement...both him and Kessler are flat footed just like Pavlik...Froch may be stronger though...Pavlik def. has a shot....a pre-Hopkins Pavlik would def. win
Froch. Pavlik wont knock him out, and he can't outbox him IMO. I was impressed with Froch's boxing in the Kessler fight, so I think he has better skills than given credit for, even though I think Pavlik does too.
There's a fighter wide open for Pavlik to double up on his jab... Seriously, that could be a great fight for Pavlik to take at 168lbs, but after taking a tuneup in order to adjust at the new weight. That could certainly be a fight that puts Pavlik back on the map and makes him look good in the process, although it could equally do the same for Froch if he's taken outta the Super 6 after losing to AA.
I know everyting possible about Pavlick. I have watched his fights. I know his boxing gym, his parents, about his daughter, his fan base in Youngston from an HBO feature on him. With that said and contributing all factors into the fight, you have give the advantage to Froch over Pavlick.
Pavlik had trouble with Martinez's speed and Hopkins saavy, neither of which Froch has on that level. Toss up fight for me.
Well Kessler does EVERYTHING better then Pavlik, and Froch ran Mikkel damn close. I think Froch beats the hell outta the alchy.
Froch would not see the end of 8. Pavlik does absolutely everything better than Froch does. Anyone who says otherwise is delusional.
