    Why would Froch fight Pavlik?

he's injury ridden, 33 years old , visably past his best and prone to cutting.

It's pretty obvious he's on his last run

People keep making Carl Froch threads, and they disappear after 2-3 pages.

Because he's a **** head shot fighter with no power at the weight , who's been calling Froch out !!

Froch can box or punch Pavlik to defeat , probably as easy as he beat AA IMHO

Kessler is clearly past his best. If unable to maintain range Clev might be able to outwork him.

Kessler looked shot against Green to me.

His leanback/short step back type defence hasn't aged very well, he gets caught with shots that he ordinarily wouldn't have.

I think he really pulled it out of his arse against Froch, he REALLY wanted it bad.

Against certain types of fighters he'll be alright for a while yet, Froch would probably stop him in a rematch.

He'd fancy his chances against Cleverly though. Nathan isn't what he was a couple of years ago.

Does anyone actually believe Frank will send one of his top guys over to Denmark to fight Kessler? Come off it, It's not fish eyes style.

Kessler fought Green up at light heavyweight in his last fight, granted he was closer to super middle weight limit but still.

It depends how long Cleverly wants to carry on fighting.

This would be a pretty hefty payday, if it happened.

I can't see it, but it's not the wildest suggestion I've heard if you read between the lines.

Kessler can make fortunes fighting anyone, and Clev is talking about retirement already and is heading for a KO loss at a pace.

Might be a match made in heaven.

According to the increasingly insane Vince, Nathan's future lies in the Heavyweight division, not sure its relative in this thread I just wanted to remind people.

Yeah, Kessler's a bum with a shaky chin and not much of a punch.

Look out for the left hook though, lethal at times.

Are we forgetting that Allan "Brown Bomber" Green dropped Kessler last time out?

If at the full 175 limit I think Clev has a very good chance.

Its been a long, injury riddled, inactive two and a bit years since he beat Froch.
