I'd favor Mikkel, but he is on the slide and has been for a while, think he would probably KO Clev.

    Cleverly needs to do something.
Tired of seeing old news of a big announcement from team Clev and nothing happening.

Kessler (professional Danish boxer, main subject of post)

By (form of action, through the medium of, along, or using as a route)

Decapitation (a sarcastic explanation towards outcome of fight)

How's that for an expansion? Maybe its more of a breaking down?

I love my INIGHTFUL posting style. :amen

Granted he didn't travel far but he put Burns (a world champion defending against nobodies up until that point) in with Katsidis (universally respected warrior on the slide). Plenty were picking decapitation as the outcome for that one too.

It's a good fight. If Clev wins he's legitimised himself as a credible world champ. If he loses (provided he doesn't get demolished), so what? People will still pay to see him fight Bellew, and Froch couldn't beat Kessler either.

good comparison, Burns was going up in that fight too, whereas Cleverly is naturally the bigger man in this one

Frustrating i agree with even the most loyal of boxing fans getting to the " Who gives a **** stage " , Nath needs to look at Calzaghe and see how he is remembered if it's the dragging of heals route he is intent on taking, i understood when he was in Uni but his career has stalled since the Bellew fight , that win should have been just the start instead of what could possibly turn out to be the highlight of his career if he don't get a shift on . Step it up Nath .

I lump guys like Cleverly, Vanes, Korobov all into the same category.
    Add Povetkin to that too.

Skilled guys that just want to coast. Too worried to risk it. Too deluded to not realize (hopefully they do realize) that most laugh at their accomplishments. And that when their next fights are announced we know for great certainty it will be against some guy 1/4 of their talent.... but who has 3 times their heart and you see it play out during the fight.

Boxing Monthly already printed that Cleverly is facing Shumenov on October 13.
